9. Control Panel
9.1 Introduction/Operation
To Turn ON the UPS:
Once all modules are assembled and installation cabling is complete:
1. Switch ON Internal/External Battery Breakers.
2. Switch ON Main Input Breaker (Q1) located on the front of the breaker panel (the LCD panel will display "Bypass Mode").
3. Press the Power button
4. Switch ON Output Breaker (Q3). Parameters can now be viewed, adjusted and programmed via the control panel located on the front of the
UPS system.
To Turn OFF the UPS:
WARNING
The UPS system shutdown procedure will eliminate the AC power output for all loads. Before shutdown, confirm all loads
are turned off.
1. Press the Power button
2. UPS will transfer to Bypass Mode or Standby mode if bypass is disabled.
Note: UPS will have no output when in Standby Mode.
3. Switch OFF Output Breaker (Q3).
4. Switch OFF Main Input Breaker (Q1).
5. Wait 1 minute and then shut off battery breakers.
Note: To be fully de-energized, UPS must be disconnected from AC input.
The Control Panel is the user control and interface for all measured parameters, UPS and battery status and alarms and is divided into three
areas:
