8 Put the plug into the power socket.
9 Move the switch to 1. The light will glow.
10 Shortly afterwards, coffee will start to drip into the carafe.
11 When it's done, the hotplate will keep the carafe warm.
0 FINISHED?
12 Move the switch to 0. The light will go off.
13 Unplug, and let the appliance and carafe cool down fully before cleaning, or for about 10
minutes before refilling.
C A QUICK CUP
14 You can remove the carafe at any time.
15 To prevent the filter holder overflowing, replace the carafe on the hotplate within about 20
seconds.
C CARE AND MAINTENANCE
16 Unplug the appliance and let it cool before cleaning or storing away.
17 Use the grip to open the lid, and expose the reservoir.
18 Tip the contents of the filter holder into the bin.
19 Wash the carafe and filter holder in warm soapy water, then rinse.
20 Press the lever at the rear of the carafe lid, above the handle, to open the carafe lid.
21 Wipe the appliance, inside and out, with a damp cloth.
22 Turn the filter holder to bring the slot in its rim towards the lid, then lower the filter holder
back into the coffee maker.
23 Close the lid, and press down to lock it.
24 Don't put any part of the appliance in a dishwasher.
C DESCALING
25 Descale regularly. Use a proprietary brand of descaler suitable for use in plastic-bodied
products. Follow the instructions on the package of descaler.
