PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The C05-4230 charging unit is used for charging the B05-3640 lithium-ion rech-
argeable battery. As soon as the rechargeable battery is inserted in the charging
unit, the charging unit automatically detects the charge status of the recharge-
able battery. The charging process then begins. It ends automatically when the
rechargeable battery is fully charged.
The rechargeable battery can be charged in any charge status. Interrupting the
charging process does not damage the rechargeable battery.

DESIGNATED USE

The C05-4230 charging unit is only intended for charging the B05 - 3640 rechar-
geable battery (li-ion: 36 V, 4 Ah, 144 Wh). Other rechargeable batteries, rech-
argeable battery packs or non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged with
this appliance.
The appliance is only intended for indoor use and must not be used in environ-
ments where there is a potential risk of explosion and/or fire. It is only intended
for private use in the garden and hobby area, but not for professional use.
Any use other than the designated use described here is deemed as non-desi-
gnated.
