DISPOSAL

All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of sepa-
rately from the municipal waste stream at designated collection
facilities appointed by the government or the local authorities.
Proper disposal and separate collection of your old appliance will help
prevent potential damage to the environment and human health. They
are a prerequisite for the reuse and recycling of used electrical and
electronic equipment.
Detailed information for the disposal of your old appliances can be ob-
tained from your municipality, your waste disposal service, the specia-
list dealer from whom you purchased the product or your sales contact
person.
These statements only apply to appliances that are installed and sold
in the countries of the European Union and are subject to European
Directive 2002/96/EC. Different provisions can apply to the disposal of
electrical and electronic appliances in countries outside the European
Union.
Only dispose of rechargeable batteries and non-rechargeable bat-
teries in the discharged condition!
As the user, you are obliged to return rechargeable batteries and non-
rechargeable batteries.
Rechargeable batteries and non-rechargeable batteries can be handed
in at no charge at the following places:
The sales point where you purchased the rechargeable batteries
or non-rechargeable batteries.
A sales point of the specialist dealer
A disposal point of the common take-back system for the used
batteries of appliances
A disposal point of the manufacturer (if not a member of the com-
mon take-back system)
