clean and dry.

General installation notes

Prerequisites for safe and correct
installation
• Do not loosen the lock nuts on the
bottom side of Geberit Pluvia roof outlets.
• In the case of metallic roof sealing and
when installing gutters, take into account
the combination of materials and factors
that may promote corrosion.
• Equip Geberit Pluvia contact sheets with
a roof sealing before connecting.
• Process the roof sealing materials in
accordance with the processing
specifications of the relevant
manufacturer.
• If roof sealing materials from different
manufacturers or ones made of different
materials are to be connected together,
contact the manufacturers in advance for
information regarding processing and
warranty coverage.
• Use only the Geberit lubricant enclosed.
Do not use any products containing
silicon.
• If the building site drainage is provided by
the Geberit Pluvia roof outlets, prepare
the protection box covers in accordance
with the installation manual.
• After installing the Geberit Pluvia roof
outlets, clean the roof surface and/or the
gutter. Remove the rest of the packaging
and insulation material and check that
the complete outlet grating has been
installed correctly.
• In the case of roofs suitable for
promenade or parking decks, the roof
outlets and the discharge pipes must be
protected against caking. Use only
plastic-bonded plates for the protective
layer.
