Starting, pausing, and stopping cleaning
⇒ Start cleaning with the Start / Pause button (10, Fig� 2)�
♦ The appliance stops automatically when the set cleaning time has elapsed�
♦ The remaining time is displayed in the indicator during cleaning�
• Cleaning can be stopped and restarted by pressing the Start / Pause button�
• Once cleaning is stopped, the remaining cleaning time can be adjusted�
• The intensity can be modified at any time during the cleaning process.
• Cleaning can be stopped at any time before the cleaning time has elapsed by pressing the
Stop button (11, Fig� 2)�
♦ After the cleaning time has elapsed the indicator shows „00"�
⇒ Stop cleaning altogether by pressing the Stop button (11, Fig� 2)�
♦ The display shows the previously set cleaning time�
To improve the cleaning performance, the sense of rotation will change every 30 seconds.
5.5
Remove the cleaning object
After cleaning:
⇒ Remove the cleaning vessel and open the lid while holding over a washbasin
or sink unit�
Never open the cleaning beaker in the device!
⇒ Place the holding magnets on the outside of the beaker so that
the cleaning pins collect on the inner wall of the beaker�
⇒ The object can now be easily removed using the supplied twee-
zers�
Carefully rinse the cleaned object with water for at least
5 seconds and disinfect it according to the guidelines defined
in national hygiene regulations before returning it to the pa-
tient.
Check the object carefully for any cleaning pins residues before handing back to the patient or

inserting into the patient's mouth.
Use the cleaning fluid only once!
Bacterial contamination can occur when the object is placed into the cleaning liquid. Therefore,
the cleaning liquid must be replaced for each cleaning operation.
5.6
Optional intensive cleaning with help:ex discolor f
If tough residue, such as nicotine / tar stains, still remain after the cleaning process with
help:ex plaque (f or p), we recommend subsequent cleaning with the special cleaner help:ex
discolor f� To do this, completely cover the cleaning object in the plastic cup with lid (gray),
help:ex discolor f (Fig� 4)� After an immersion time of 5 - 10 mins (without the use of clean-
ing pins and the cleaning device!) the cleaned object can be taken out using plastic twee-
zers� Remove any residue by brushing under warm running tap water wwith a toothbrush or
denture cleaning brush�
