is only used once or twice per
year. The lawn aerator works
down to the soil. It effectively
aerates the lawn as a result of
the repeated use and thereby
removes moss and lawn felt
together with moist or downtrod-
den foliage in a much more
careful way. The law should not
be higher than approx. 3 cm as
otherwise, no aerating effect can
be achieved. Long blades of
grass can also get caught in the
aerator cylinder.
Use the lawn aerator in straight
lines and not crosswise or
diagonally. When aerating,
hold the lawn aerator back
slightly and allow it to travel
across the law at a normal walk-
ing pace. Do not pull the running
appliance back when aerating.

(Fig. 2)
Right means right in the working
direction. Left means left in the
working direction. (The working
direction is determined on the
basis of the guide handle.)
In order to replace the aerator
cylinder, loosen the aerator
cylinder head screw and pull
the aerator cylinder off the
drive shaft. The prescribed aera-
tor cylinders design can only
be assembled right and left. For
this reason, the aerator cylinder
head is labelled with a R for
right and a L for left. The assem-
bly screw is pre-assembled on
the aerator cylinder. Please
loosen the screw before com-
mencing with the assembly
work. Push the guide for the
