Fitting and Centring the Sanding Belt
(Fig. 1)
The tool uses 64 x 356 mm sanding belts.
1. Turn the belt tensioning lever (D) clockwise until
it is in the release position.
2. Remove the sanding belt (F).
3. Place a new sanding belt making sure that the
arrow on the inside of the sanding belt points
in the same direction as the arrow on the
machine.
Sanding belts without arrows can go either
direction. If the belt is monodirectional and has
arrows printed on its inside, make sure to point
these arrows in the direction of belt rotation
indicated on the sander. (Belt rotation would be
clockwise when looking into the open side of the
sander).
4. Turn the belt tensioning lever counterclockwise
until it is in the clamp position.
5. Switch the machine on and turn the belt
centring knob (E) until the sanding belt is
centred on the front roller (C).
Front Handle (Fig. 1)
The front handle is removeable to allow the sander
into tight spaces. The unit comes with the handle
(B) installed as shown. To remove the handle,
loosen the flat/torx head screw (G) in the centre of
the handle using a flat head screwdriver and then
