USE INSTRUCTIONS

When the appliance is used for the first time, it may give off a slight odour
and smoke, this is normal. This should only occur on initial use.
n Close the appliance.
n Set the thermostat (c) to "min" position.
n Plug into the mains outlet. The power indicator light (b) and the
thermostat light (d) will turn on (2).
n Select the desired temperature using the thermostat (c). The thermostat
light (d) will go off (3).
n Once the appliance reaches the correct temperature, the thermostat light
(d) will come on again. It will take approximately 4-6 minutes for the
appliance to heat to maximum temperature.(4). The red indicator light on

intervals in order to ensure the cooking temperature remains constant.
n Once the right temperature is reached, open the appliance by lifting the
heat insulated handle (a). Place the food on the lower plate (f).
n Use plastic utensils. Do not use metal utensils as they may damage the
non-stick coating of the plates.
n Close the appliance. The hinges (g) adjust automatically according to
the thickness of the food (5). There is no need to press down on the
handle. The weight of the upper plates will press down on item being
grilled.
n Allow food to cook for the desired time. The appliance can be opened at
any time during cooking to check on the progress of the items being
cooked.
