Switching on and off (figure 8).

and the plug for damage.
Always hold the power tool
CAUTION
firmly. Otherwise, you could
lose control over the power tool.
Switching on:
Press the On/Off switch. The speed increases
the more you press the On/Off switch.
Switching off:
To switch off the power tool, release the
On/Off switch.
Locking on:
Press the On/Off switch to the stop and press
in the Locking button.
Release the On/Off switch.
For switching off, briefly press the On/Off
switch until the Locking button disengages.
Release the On/Off switch.
Insulated gripping surfaces (figure 9).
Hold power tool by insulated gripping sur-
faces, when performing an operation where
the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or
its own cord. Contact with a "live" wire will
make exposed metal parts of the tool "live"
and shock the operator.
