Medical Device (Class IIa – MDD 93/42/EEC) – Read the instructions carefully before use
HOSPYNEB is a professional device for the administration of medication for the treatment and relief of the respiratory tract
intended for use to administer aerosoltherapy on the recommendation of a physician. Excellent for home and professional use.
HOSPYNEB is equipped with a piston compressor with incorporated air filter that is periodically replaced (every 70 applications).
Reliable, durable and lubrication-free, it is constructed in observance of current European regulations for the safety of devices
for electromedical use (EN 60601–1; EN13544-1) and has been tested for conformity toEMC standards (EN60601-1-2);
HOSPYNEB includes accessories (see accessories manual) that have been laboratory tested in conformity with the most recent
scientific criteria for the effectiveness and biological safety (the bio-compatibility of the accessories is certified by specialized
analysis laboratories).

This is a medical device for home/professional use and must only be used with a doctor's prescription. It must be operated as
indicated in this instruction manual. It is important that the patient read and understand the information for the use and maintenance
of the unit. Contact a trusted reseller for any questions.
Do not use this device for any purpose other than its intended use, i.e., as an aerosoltherapy device. The manufacturer is not
responsible for improper use.
The device is not suitable for anesthesia or pulmonary ventilation.
This equipment is not suitable for use in the presence of an inflammable anesthetic mixed with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.
The device's cover is not protected against the penetration of liquids.
The device must only be used with its original accessories, as shown in the instruction manual
Always use the device and its accessories following the recommendations of your doctor. Use only medications prescribed by
your doctor and only in the manner that the latter has indicated.
Do not use extension cords or adapters and we recommend always unwinding the electric cord to avoid dangerous overheating.
Keep the device and its cord away from hot surfaces. Always unplug the cord after use.
Never immerse the product in water; if this should occur, immediately disconnect the plug from the electric socket. Do not touch
or attempt to remove the submerged device from the water without having first disconnected the plug from the electric socket.
Do not use the device after removing from the water (immediately send it to a reseller you trust).
Do not open and/or tamper with the device. If the device is not working correctly, turn it off and consult the instruction manual.
Contact a trusted reseller for any repairs.
The device contains small parts that can be removed and easily swallowed. Its use by minors or the disabled thus requires the
presence of an adult with full mental faculties. Do not leave the device unattended in places easily accessible by minors and the
disabled.
Keep in a clean, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, sources of heat and the weather.

THE DEVICE WON'T TURN-ON
•Make sure the plug is fully-inserted in the electric outlet.
•Make sure the switch is in the on position (I).
THE DEVICE IS ON BUT DOESN'T NEBULIZE
•Make sure you have inserted the nebulization nozzle (pisper)
inside the ampoule.
•Make sure the air connection tube is not crushed or bent.
•Make sure the aspiration filter is not obstructed or dirty. If
so, replace it with a new one.
N.B.: In the event the device does not resume working despite having made the above checks, contact a trusted reseller.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

Carefully wash your hands before cleaning and disinfecting the accessories.
Replacing the filter: Lift the filter cover and use a flat screwdriver as a lever, as
shown in figure 1a; detach the filter to be replaced and insert the replacement,
as shown in figure 1b. Finally, insert the filter cover in its seat, making it adhere

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PUTTING THE DEVICE
INTO OPERATION
