Towing hitch with open socket mounting plate:
Unscrew the pre-fitted M5x14 screws from the socket housing (these are not required in this case).
Carefully remove the socket seal for the side outlet, which is not needed here, without damaging the
insulating sleeving!
Insert the pre-assembled wiring harness socket insert into the socket housing supplied, click into
place in the supports and mount it on the towing hitch mounting plate using the supplied M5 x
24 screws and the M5 nuts. (See fig. 2)

ATTENTION!
a) Ensure that the sealing elements are correctly seated! In particular, the seal on the cable outlet
from the socket must cover the insulating sleeve, not the individual wires!
b) Route the wiring harness so that no chafing can occur!
c) Do not route the wiring harness close to the exhaust system!
