Position the rubber grommet fitted to the wiring harness and insert into the opening hole from the
luggage compartment to the outside. Ensure that it is correctly seated.
Fasten the wiring harness to the towing hitch cross member using the supplied 377mm cable ties.
Insert the three 6-pin, 10-pin and 24-pin connector housings of the wiring harness into the intended
slots in the trailer connection unit and click into place.
Then insert the trailer connection unit at the intended position in the side panel at the rear on the left
and then use the required parts (snap nuts and screws) to secure it in place. (See fig. 4)

Connect the four cable lugs of the brown wires in the 12-wire and 9-wire wiring harnesses to the
vehicle earthing point on the left side of the luggage compartment.
Route the remaining wire ends of the 9-wire wiring harness on the left side of the vehicle along the
vehicle's wiring harness to the front into the left footwell and then use the supplied 143mm cable ties
to secure in place.
