9. ADJUSTIN G BEVEL CUTTIN G
Loosen wing nut 12 (Fig. 3), adjust the cutting angle according
to ruler 12 (Fig. 3) and tighten wing nut 12 (Fig.3) again.
10. CUTTIN G IN DICATOR
T he right slot in the saw base on the side of the parallel
guide is used as an indicator when cutting vertically, and
the left slot -when the blade is inclined at 45°. A test cut
is recommended.
11. IN STRUCTION S FOR THE PARALLEL
POSITION IN G OF THE SAW BLADE AN D BASE
Loosen the four screws 17 (Fig. 7) which attach the base to
the machine. Place the limit guide assembly 4 (Fig. 7) so that
the short face is resting against the front of the machine
base and turn the base slightly, until the saw 18 (Fig. 7) is
aligned with the face of the limit guide assembly. T ighten
the screws 17 (Fig. 7) on the base once again.
12. LATERAL FENCE
Guide 4 (Fig. 3) is used when cutting parallel to the edge
of a shaped part. Cutting width is adjusted by ruler 4 (Fig.
3). The wing nut should be well tightened.
13. DUST COLLECTOR FITTIN G
T he circular saw may be completed in addition with dust
capturing adaptor. Place adaptor 13 (Fig. 6) on guard cover
and fix ti by screw 14 (Fig. 6) and washer 15 (Fig. 6). T his
suction nozzle allows the machine to be connected, using
the ST ANDARD DUST COLLE CT OR FITT ING Ref.6446073 or
1746245 of 5 m (optional), to ours dusts collectors AS182K,
AS282K or to any other industrial collector.
14. MAIN TEN AN CE AN D REPAIR
T his model circular saw does not require any special main-
tenance. Any work on the machine, save blade replacement,
adjusting the slotting knife, fixing the cutting depth and
cutting angle, must be accomplished by authorized persons
in authorized official service.
15. WARRAN TY
All VIRUT E X power tools are guaranted for 12 months from
the date of purchase, excluding any damage which is a
result of incorrect use or of natural wear and tear on the
machine. All repairs should be carried out by the official
VIRUTE X technical assistance service.
16. RECYCLIN G ELECTRICAL EQUIPMEN T
Never dispose of electrical equipment with domestic waste.
Recycle equipment, accessories and packaging in ways that
minimise any adverse effect on the environment. Comply

1. IN STRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ POUR
LE MANIEMEN T DE LA SCIE CIRCULAIRE
Une conduite incorrecte de la poussière, travail d'une pièce
non protegée ou l'effleurement de pièces en mouvement de
la scie circulaire, peuvent aboutir à des blessures physiques
graves et l'action du bruit peut endommager l'ouïe.
Avant toute utillisation de la scie circulaire, vérifier:
• La tension de la source de courant. E lle doit correspondre
à celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de la machine. Les
scies circulaires conçues pour une tension de 230 V peuvent
également être branchés sur 220 V.
• La position de l'interrupteur. N'enficher la fiche dans la
prise que lorsque la scie circulaire se trouve à l'arrêt.
• L'état du disque coupant. N'utiliser que des disques bien
affilés. Changer immédiatement les disques crevés ou défor-
més. Ne pas utiliser de disques coupants d'acier hautement
allié coupant vite (acier HSS).
• Si le couteau fendant ne touche pas le disque coupant.
• Le mouvement libre du protecteur mobile.
• La fixation de la pièce ou du matériau qui doit être travaillé.
