T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the vehicle's trunk/
tailgate &
remove the threshold
trim along the rear doors (Fig.
1A).
3. Remove the interior trim
panel on the left (drivers) side
(Fig. 1B).
4. Locate the vehicles tail light wiring harness
behind the trim panel. It will have a connector similar to
that on the T-Connector harness (Fig. 2).
5. Press the T-Connector ends into the vehicle harness
connectors until they lock into
place. Take care not to damage the
locking tabs.
6. Confirm correct operation with
a test light or by using a trailer.
7. Re-install the interior trim
panel, routing the T-Connectors
4-flat trailer connector our under the panel.
8. Replace the threshold trim plate
to its original position using the
fasteners removed in step 2.
