Applications
The "ELECTROMATIC PLUS" brush is designed
to vacuum and brush carpets with a vacuum
cleaner. It removes dust, fluff, threads and hairs
particularly thoroughly. If the carpet pile has
been flattened, the brush will produce a visible
loosening of the pile. The brush can also be
used on hard floors.
Important: Do not move the brush into the vici-
nity or long hair, scarves, ties, etc.
Notes
Do not move the rotating brush roller over the
mains lead. When the brush is rotating, do not
leave the machine in one place on the carpet or
it may damage the pile.
Wool velour carpets, particularly those with a
loose pile, should only be cleaned with the
mounted brush unit at long intervals.
To use the brush
Assembly
Fit the "ELECTROMATIC PLUS" brush like a
suction tube. Connect the lead (2) into the
socket on the vacuum cleaner (Fig. 1).
When you switch on the vacuum cleaner, the
"ELECTROMATIC PLUS" brush will also be
switched on.

Servicing
If the brush roller becomes blocked during clea-
ning by vacuuming foreign bodies or due to
frayed carpet thread wrapping around it, the
motor will shut down automatically.
Before competing any servicing work, switch off
the vacuum cleaner and disconnect its mains
plug.
The "ELECTROMATIC PLUS" brush will cut in
again when the blockage has been removed
after it has waited for one minute and it has
been reconnected to the power supply.
To remove threads
wrapped around the roller
Threads and hairs wrapped around the roller
can be removed easily by cutting them with a
pair of scissors (Fig. 3) and then vacuuming
them with a gap nozzle (Fig. 4).
