OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES

The For-Max can be connected to the following optional accessories, not included in
the package (see fig. 6):
(A) - wall-mounted push button panel with 2 buttons: Up and Down
(B) - wall-mounted push button panel: sequential step-step control
(C) - pair of photocells mod. F210S
(D) - resistive sensitive edge
(E) - climatic sensor for wind, sun, rain (models of the VOLO and NEMO series, can
be connected by cable)
To connect the accessories, use the following wires:
BLACK/WHITE:
• Common (at low voltage)
WHITE:
• TTBUS input (for photocells F210S / Bus decoders /
TTP and TTI decoders)
• Open input (for a push button panel with 1 or 2 buttons)
• Step-step input (for push button panel with one button)
WHITE/ORANGE:
• Bus sensor inputs (for resistive sensitive edge/
climatic sensors for wind, sun, rain)
• Close inputs for push button panel with 2 buttons)
WARNINGS
• On the white + black/white wire it is possible to connect only one accessory
at a time.
• On the white/orange + black/white wire it is possible to connect only one
accessory at a time.
• The Open and Close inputs are linked to one another, i.e. they must be used
with the same push button panel (fig. 6). As an alternative, if only one white
wire is available, you can use the step-step input.
9.1 - Wall-mounted push button control panel
(white + white orange + black/white wire)
This accessory can be used as an alternative to the transmitter to send commands
to the For-Max during normal use of the automation and to perform some program-
ming (those in paragraphs 7.5 - 7.6 - 7.7 - 8.5).
14 – English
Use only the type of push button panel that is "push to run", i.e. it is necessary to
press and hold the buttons for the desired duration of the manoeuvre.
It is possible to use models with 1 or 2 buttons, as required:
- push button panel with 2 buttons activates the input up and down
- push button panel with 1 button may activate the input TTBus / Open / Step-step
(the type of input is selected with the procedure set forth in point 9.1.1).
Warnings for installation of a push button panel:
• Position the push button panel as follows:
- in view of the automation, but far from its moving parts
- on the same side of the automation as the electrical cable from the tubular motor
and the power cord from the electrical mains (fig. 5-h);
- in a place that does not allow access by unauthorized persons
- not less than 1.5 m above the ground
9.1.1 - Connection of a push button panel with 1 button
For connection, use the white cable and the black-white cable (common).
After connecting the push button panel, perform the following procedure, with a
memorized transmitter, to programme the command that you want to give with the
button (open or step-step):
01. Press and hold key ■ for about 5 seconds, until the motor performs 1 VIBRA-
TION. Then release the key.
02. Press and hold key ■ again for about 5 seconds, until the motor performs 4 rap-
id motions. Then release the key.
03. Simultaneously press keys ■ and ▼ for about 5 seconds, until the motor per-
forms either 3 or 5 long motions. Then release the key.
3 long motions = memorized command step-step
5 long motions = memorized command Open
The motor performs 3 motions if in the For-Max memory the Open has already
been memorized (default setting). It performs 5 motions if in the memory of the
For-Max the step-step command has already been memorized. In practice, to
change from one command to the other, just perform the procedure again.
Note - With the step-step command memorized, it is not possible to use the push
button panel to perform the procedure in paragraph 8.5 - " Total deletion of mem-
ory and restoration of default settings". In these circumstances, you must use a
transmitter to perform the procedure.
9.1.1 - Connection of a push button panel with 2 buttons
For connection, refer to fig. 6.
