You have just acquired a C.A 801 or C.A 803 temperature
adapter and we thank you for your confidence.
To obtain the best service from it:
- read this user's manual carefully.
- comply with the precautions for use.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Always use the adapter with K-type thermocouples.
Always use your adapter within a 0 to 50°C temperature
range and with a relative humidity of less than 70%.
Always disconnect the adapter from any sources of
electricity before opening the housing to change the
battery.
Never connect the adapter to a multimeter if the housing
has not been closed correctly.
Never connect the adapter to a digital multimeter with an
input impedance of less than 2 MΩ.
To avoid damaging it, never subject the thermocouple to
a potential greater than 24 V AC or 60 V DC.
In T1-T2 RCD mode (C.A 803), never apply a voltage (AC
or DC) to inputs T1 and T2 or to the K thermocouples
(see 5. To order) or the reading may be false. If the two
ther mocouples are given the same potential, the
measurement is also incorrect.
WARRANTY
Unless there is an explicit stipulation to the contrary, our
warranty applies for twelve months after the equipment is
made available.
