3 Operating Instructions
1.
Check the reception for completeness and visible
damages such as signs of wear, deformation,
breakages, cracks, and corrosion damages prior to
each use. Do no use the support when defects are
noted and discard it immediately.
2.
Check all threads for proper function.
3.
Carry out the necessary preparation work for the
use of the support in accordance with the
workshop manuals.
4.
Tighten the hexagon screws with 20 Nm.
5.
Use further accessories as described in the
workshop manual.
6.
Attach the support T40137 vertically on the
workshop crane (e.g. VAS 6100) with an approved
support as described in the workshop manuals.
WARNING
Risk through falling load!
Incorrect attachment of the support may result in a
tilting or falling load. This could result in serious injuries
and severe damage to materials.
Fasten the support to the workshop crane exactly as
described in the workshop manuals. Use further
approved accessories if necessary.
Check the secure seat of the support T40137 before
lifting the load.
Only lift the support T40137 vertically.
Observe the operating manual of the used
accessories.
7.
Carry out further work as described in the
workshop manuals.
8.
Ensure that all parts of the special tool have been
removed after completing the repair work.
