4.1 Installation Guidelines
The thermostatic mixing valves can be installed in any
position
With any connections to be welded, during welding
remove the mixer so as not to damage the thermostat
and seals
It is recommended that interception valves are
installed on the connection ways to the mixer
The polystyrene packaging may be used as insulation
for the valve

Start-up

Changing the standard temperature TM3400 - TM3410
thermostatic mixing valves are fitted with a thermostatic
element set to a standard temperature and are adjusted at the
factory to the standard temperature (shown in the centre of
temperature plate F, and on the packaging).
This temperature can only be changed within the limits of the
corresponding adjustment range for the mixed water.
To make a change proceed as follows:
Temperature plate is pierced in the centre
usinghexagonal key included in the packaging.
Turning the screw clockwise raises the temperature of
mixture; accordingly to lower it, turn the key in an anti-
clockwise direction. The temperature of the hot water
should be at least 5 K more than that of the mixed
water.
