Filter/Filter package
NOTE! The appliance must never be operated with only a plastic sack, it must always have a
filter. Check regularly that the filter is not defective.
CAUTION!
Risk of equipment damage.
Place no object on top of the unit when cleaning the filter packages
5.2.1
Micro-filter
See Figures 2–3. Replace the micro-filter every year or more frequently if the vacuum effect
decreases. Disconnect the clamping ring and lift the lid. Then carefully lift out the filter and
place it in a plastic bag. Carefully seal the bag.
5.2.2
Filter package
See Figure 3.
Filter package, cartridge (3a)
The particles collect on the outside of the filter. Clearing of the filter is carried out hourly or
when the vacuum performance decreases. The cartridge filter should be changed if required.
Filter package, CF (3b)
The particles collect on the outside of the filter. Clearing of the filter is carried out hourly or
when the vacuum performance decreases. The filter membrane should be changed if required.
Filter package, PP (3c)
The particles collect on the outside of the filter. Cleaning is carried out every other hour or
when the vacuum performance decreases. Replacing the entire filter package is recommended.
When only changing the socks, the filter ring should also be replaced.
Filter package, sack (3d)
The sack should be replaced if it becomes worn, damaged or when particles begin to
penetrate.
5.3
Casing
See Figure 4.
Casing high, (4a): The casing forms a container for the filter package. It is important that the
eccentric catches are locked with cotters.
Casing low with lift, (4b): The casing forms a container for the filter package and is equipped
with lifting devices to facilitate handling of the receptacle.
5.3.1
Maintenance
Check:
•
That the eccentric catches are properly fastened.
•
That the cotters for the locks are in place (4a).
•
That the flap valve seals (4b).
