• Use scale on the fence (11) to set the mitre gauge (10) to
appropriate dimension.
• Press ceramic tile to the fence (11) and the base of the mitre
gauge (10) (fig. N).
• Press the "I" button on the switch (7) to start the rail tile saw and
wait until water reaches to the cutting disc.
• Make a cut by moving the head (4) slowly and at uniform rate
while holding the handle (3) with your hand. Hold the ceramic tile
(it is best to use tile holding piece) before advancing the head. Be
careful to avoid body injury.
• Press the "O" button of the switch (7) to switch the rail tile saw off.
Always advance the saw head far enough to complete
the cut. Switch the saw off and wait until cutting disc comes to a
complete stop, only then you can remove cut off pieces.
CUTTING TO DEFINED WIDTH
When cutting lengthwise always use the mitre gauge
as longitudinal fence and adjust it to appropriate dimension of
lengthwise cut.
MITRE CUTTING
• Choose and set up cutting angle on the mitre gauge (10).
• Put ceramic tile and press it against the fence (11) and the base of
the mitre gauge (10) (fig. O).
• Make a cut as described above.
BEVEL CUTTING
• Loosen the bevel locking knobs (15) located on both sides of the
device.
• Tilt the head to desired angle, you can read the adjusted angle on
the scale (26) (fig. P).
• Tighten the bevel locking knobs (15).
• Make a cut as described above (fig. R).
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before
commencing any activities related to installation, adjustment,
repair or maintenance.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
• When the work is finished, carefully remove all pieces of material
and dust from the work table, area around cutting blade and its
shields.
• Cloth or brush are best for cleaning the rail tile saw.
• Do not clean the saw with chemical cleaning agents.
• Lift the small part of the working top and pull out the drain plug
to drain the water from the base to appropriate container (fig. S).
• Regularly clean dirt from the base and the water pump.
• Keep ventilation holes of the motor unobstructed.
• Regularly check that all bolts and fixing screws are tightened. They
may get loosened after some time of the operation.
• Store the rail tile saw in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
• Entrust replacement of power cord and other repairs only to
authorized service workshop.
CUTTING DISC REPLACEMENT
• Tighten the head locking screw (16) to lock the head.
• Undo the fixing screws to remove the cutting disc guard (27) (fig.
T).
• Use the special keys (included) to unscrew the nut that holds the
cutting disc (28) (fig. U).
• Important! Unscrew the nut in direction of the cutting blade
rotation (left-hand thread).
• Remove outer collar washer.
• Take the cutting blade (28) off the spindle shaft.
• Clean surfaces of the spindle shaft and collar washers.
• Position new cutting disc so the arrow on the disc matches the
direction of the arrow on the cutting disc guard (27).
• Install new cutting disc (proceed with disassembly procedure in
reverse sequence) and tighten the nut that holds the cutting disc.
• Use previously undone screws to install the cutting disc guard
(27).
• With working gloves on, turn the cutting disc with your hand to
make sure it is free to rotate.
• Plug the rail tile saw to mains socket, start the tool and allow to
work at full rotational speed for a few minutes.
Be careful to keep correct rotation direction of the
cutting disc. Arrow on the cutting disc guard shows direction of
the tool spindle rotation.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorised by the
manufacturer.
