Operation

DANGER
Risk of injury on account of the escaping
water jet that could be hot!
– Only use the interior cleaner in closed
containers.
– Only insert the interior cleaner into a
container or switch it into another con-
tainer while the separate high pressure
pump is turned off.
 Place interior cleaner onto container
and lock it.
 Connect the high pressure pump to the
interior cleaner via a high pressure
hose.
 Open the cleaning liquid supply.
 Switch on the separate high pressure
pump.

Shutting down

Note: Flush the interior cleaner for 30 sec-
onds without adding detergents prior to
shutting it down. This will avoid crusting
and adhesion and thus premature wear of
the seals.
 Switch off the separate high pressure
pump.
 Shut off the cleaning liquid supply.
 Remove the interior cleaner from the
container.

Storage

CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Note the weight
of the appliance in case of storage.

Transport

CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
 When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.

Maintenance and care

The basis for a safe operational plant is
regular maintenance.
Use only original parts of the manufacturer
or part suggessted by him, such as
– replacement and wear parts
– Accessory parts
– Fuel
– Detergent

During all tasks:
 Remove voltage from and secure high
pressure pump at the main switch.
 Shut off the cleaning liquid supply.
Who may perform maintenance?
 Operator
Work designated with the sign "Opera-
tor" may only be carried out by persons
who have been instructed in the safe
operation and maintenance on the high
pressure plant.
 Customer Service
Work designated with the sign "Cus-
tomer Service" may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service.
Maintenance contract
In order to guarantee a reliable operation
og the equipment, we success, you signed
a maintenance agreement. Please refer to
you local Kärcher service department.
Maintenance intervals
Note: Do not turn the regulator screw of the
interior cleaner, as otherwise the factory
default setting is lost and proper operation
is no longer guaranteed.
Daily
 Check screw connection of the counter-
weight (operator).
 Check nozzles for tight seating (opera-
tor).
Monthly or after 200 operating hours
 Check whether all screws are fastened
tightly (operator).
 Check drive parts (operator).
Annually or after 1200 operating hours
 Check regulator fluid and top up if nec-
essary (customer service).
Maintenance Works
Remove nozzle holder
1 Screw
2 Shoulder disc
3 Balancing disc
4 Nozzle-holder
5 Counterweight
6 Protective cover
 Loosen the screw.
 Remove the shoulder disc and the bal-
ancing discs.
 Pull off the nozzle holder.
 Unscrew the counterweight and re-
move the protective cover.
 Clean the bevel wheels.
Install nozzle holder
 Attach the protective cover and screw
on counterweight.
 Install the nozzle holder.
 Insert the shoulder disc and the balanc-
ing discs.
 Attach the screw.
