Use
Before use. Make sure that the prod-
uct has been properly reprocessed,
inspected, and tested.
DANGER!
Serious effect on cardiac function.
For cardiac applications, only use
light- guide cable A3098/A3298 in
combination with the instruments listed
in the "Compatible Components" sec-
tion. The use of medical devices not
specifically designed for cardiac appli-
cations may cause ventricular fibrilla-
tion or otherwise seriously affect the
cardiac function of the patient.
Magnetic resonance tomography.
The light-guide cables A8508 and
A8509 have been designed for applica-
tion in magnetic resonance tomogra-
phy.
Preparation
Adapters for light-guide cables
A03200A, A3290 - A3298. The light-
guide cables A03200A, A3290 - A3298
are delivered with an A3200 adapter
for Olympus light sources with plug
connection.

with screw connection or non-
Olympus light sources, replace the
A3200 adapter with a compatible
adapter (see page 16/17).
