Preparation and Start-Up
-
Open the battery compartment cover at the back of the transmitting
device and insert the included batteries (2 x 1.5V AA). In doing so, please
pay attention to the correct polarity of the batteries (+/-).

After inserting the batteries, all the indicators on the display light up for
approx. 3 seconds and a beep sound is made.
-
Now remove the retaining clip on the receiving device, open the battery
compartment cover and insert the included batteries (2 x 1.5V AAA).
-
After inserting the batteries, all symbols initially appear on the display, then
--- °C, after that LLL °C and a beep sound is made.
Operation and Display Indicators

To turn on the transmitting module, press and hold the small button to the
right on top of the device for approx. 2 seconds. The display lights up.

By touching the MEAT symbol, choose the type of meat: BEEF, LAMB,
VEAL, HAMBURGER, PORK, TURKEY, CHICKEN, FISH.

By touching the TASTE symbol, chose the degree of cooking: RARE, M
RARE, MEDIUM, M WELL, WELL.

The temperature for the desired result appears automatically on the right
side of the central part of the display.
-
Furthermore, it is possible to input a desired temperature manually:
Touch the MEAT symbol as many times as needed until the tool symbol
and PGM appear on the display. Now, by touching the
the display, you can set your desired cooking temperature (from -50 °C to
+300 °C / -58 °F to +572 °F).

By touching the MEAT symbols again, you will return to the main menu.

Stick the plug of the cable on the thermometer (sensor) into the socket on
the right side of the transmitting module. After a few seconds, the current
measured temperature appears at the top right of the transmitting module
display, and on the display of the receiving module.

The red LED light at the front of the receiving module lights up to confirm
the wireless connection (temperature is being received and displayed); the
food thermometer can now be stuck into the cooking item.
Important: If the temperature does not change, the red LED indicator on the
receiving device lights up, always after 30 seconds. If the temperature
changes by more than 1°C, the receiving device maintains a signal.
Alarm
-
As soon as the set cooking temperature has been reached, an acoustic
alarm signal sounds from the transmitting device and an alarm signal from
the receiving device.

For the alarm from the receiving device, you can choose between a
vibration or acoustic alarm by sliding the small switch on the right side of
the receiving device up or down.

In order to switch off the alarm of the transmitting device, touch any
symbol on the display.

In order to switch off the alarm of the receiving device, press the button on
the front of the receiver.
