Important: Always use an oven cloth to remove the food thermometer from
the cooking item!
Temperature indicator °C or °F

To toggle between the Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature
indicator, open the battery compartment of the transmitting module.

A small °C/°F push-button is located on the inside of the battery
compartment.

By pressing the push-button, you can switch between °C and °F.
Backlight
By touching any button on the transmitting module, you can activate the
backlight for approx. 5 seconds.
Automatic/Manual Deactivation
If the cooking thermometer has not been used for longer than 30 minutes,
the device automatically switches off. In order to conserve the batteries, you
can manually switch off the devices after use. On the transmitting module,
press and hold the small button to the right on top of the device for approx.
2 seconds; on the receiving unit, press and hold the button on the front of
the device.
Cleaning
The cooking thermometer is made out of stainless steel and plastic. Clean it
with a damp cloth. Fat or other stubborn spots can be removed using a mild
cleaning agent. Do not wash in the dishwasher or immerse in water.
3. Warranty
WAAGEN-SCHMITT guarantees the free correction of defects resulting from
material or manufacturing faults through repair or exchange 3 years from the
purchase date. In the event of a warranty claim, return the cooking
thermometer with the receipt to your dealer, specifying the reason for your
claim.
Please note: Under extreme electromagnetic influences e.g. when operating
an RF device in immediate proximity to the cooking thermometer,
interference with the indicator values may be caused. After the disturbing
influence has stopped, the product may once again be used as intended,
although a re-activation may be necessary.
