declared values are not adequate for use in risk
assessments and values measured in individual
work places may be higher.
= 3 dB : Uncertainty.
The actual exposure values and risk of harm
experienced by an individual user are unique
and depend upon the way the user works,
the workpiece and the workstation design, as
well upon the exposure time and the physical
condition of the user.
We, Desoutter, cannot be held liable for the
consequences of using the declared values,
instead of values reflecting the actual exposure,
in an individual risk assessment in a work place
situation over which we have no control.
This tool may cause hand-arm vibration
syndrome if its use is not adequately managed.
An EU guide to managing hand-arm vibration
can be found at http://www.pneurop.eu/uploads/

We recommend a programme of health
surveillance to detect early symptoms which
may relate to noise or vibration exposure, so that
management procedures can be modified to help
prevent future impairment.
OPERATING
WARNING: Before connecting the
tool to the air supply, check that the
pressure fitting is properly connected
or closed off.
SC2-1AM
Mount the threading accessory on the tool, and
connect the tool to the air supply. Grasp the tool
by the motor casing or secure the tool to the
machine and apply it to the fitting that needs to
be tightened. The motor starts up and tightens
the fitting to the required torque. Set the torque
by adjusting the force on the clutch spring (C).
When the torque is reached, the internal control
is disengaged and the air supply to the motor is
shut off.
SC2-2RM
This tool is designed to be connected for
clockwise or anticlockwise rotation, or switched
between the two, using appropriate valves.
WARNING: This tool starts up as soon
as the air supply is connected.
Mount the threading accessory on the tool, and
check that the tool is properly connected to the
air lines. Do not open the air inlet until the tool is
secured to the machine and applied to the fitting
to be tightened. The motor starts up and tightens
the fitting to the required torque. Set the torque
by adjusting the force on the clutch spring (C).
