ATTACH SNAPAROUNDS OR MIGHTYMOUNTS.
YAKIMA
ROUND BARS:
Attach 2 SnapArounds
onto each crossbar.
FACTORY OR SQUARE BARS REQUIRE
THE BASKET TO SIT ABOVE THE RACK.
This may be best for some round bars too,
depending on the crossbar spread.
MEASURE THE DISTANCE
BETWEEN THE BARS.
12" CROSSBAR SPREAD:
Basket must be positioned
as in A.
MORE THAN
12" CROSSBAR SPREAD:
Try the orientations as in B or C.
(Round bars also see below).
ROUND BARS enable the basket
to sit below the crossbars.
Some accessories can be
attached to the crossbars
when BasketCase is
installed below the bars.
Choose the best orientation for
your crossbar spread.

SQUARE BARS:
Loosen the tabs inside the
SnapArounds by bending
them repeatedly, or
remove the tabs with
scissors or pliers.
Attach 2 SnapArounds
onto each crossbar.

FACTORY BARS:
MightyMounts purchased
separately (refer to the YAKIMA
Fit List for correct MightyMounts
for your vehicle).
Attach 2 MightyMounts onto
each crossbar, according to
MightyMount instructions.
Be sure the bolts pass through the wire
loops on the BOTTOM of the basket.
Be sure the bolts pass through
the wire loops on the SIDES of
the basket.
SnapArounds may face up or
down, but the bolt must ALWAYS
be at the top of the loop.
