Place different foods in different compartments of the refrigerator according to the
table below.

Types of Food
■ Foods with natural preservatives.
Foods such as jams, juices, drinks, and
condiments.
■ Do not store perishables on the door.
■ Fruits, herbs, and vegetables should be
placed separately in the crisper bin.
■ Do no store fresh bananas, onions,
potatoes, or garlic in the refrigerator.
■ Dairy products and eggs.
■ Foods that do no require cooking, such as
ready-to-eat foods, deli meats, leftovers,
and so on.
■ Foods for long-term storage.
■ Bottom drawer/shelf for raw meat, poultry,
and fish.
■ Middle drawer/shelf for frozen vegetables
and chips.
■ Top drawer/shelf for ice-cream, frozen fruit,
and frozen baked goods.
