5 Initial Operation
5.4 Interface X 12: RS232/20 mA
The interface X 12 is intended for connecting
data collection terminals, bar code readers,
etc.
Functionality depends on the present func-
tional scope of the firmware. This is de-
scribed in the system handbook.
The 25pin plug provides the connections for
an RS232 or 20 mA interface. It is only pos-
sible to use one of these interfaces. Determi-
nation of the used interface arises from the
wiring of the pinned-up plug.
