B. Sealant or gasket failure at
holes through finished walls or
wall-surrounds.
C. Leakage at shower curtain or
shower door.
A. Blocked channel drainage.
A. Seam at finished wall not
sealed.

Recommended Action
A. Remove the access panel at the
drain end, if provided. Inspect
the supply piping and fittings
for leaks. Fill the unit to above
the overflow drain connection.
Check the drain and overflow
connection and the piping for
leaks. Repair any piping leaks.
B. Loosen or remove covers or
flanges according to the
manufacturer's
recommendations. Replace any
defective gaskets or seals.
Apply silicone or other sealant
as required.
C. Ensure that the shower curtain
or shower door is properly
installed and is properly used
according to the manufacturer's
recommendations. Ensure that
the caulking from the wall to
the shower door is properly
installed.
A. Use a wooden or plastic object
to scrape any buildup from the
seam. Increase the frequency of
cleaning.
A. Seal the seam with silicone or
other sealant according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
