are not included in the kit, they have to be purchased
separately.
Installing the bracket and alternator
1.
Undo nut (5) on the engine. Remove washers (13) and
(14). Install bracket (3) and put the washers and nuts
back again. Tighten loosely.
2.
Install the pipes (1) with clamp (2) and nut (4).
3.
Install the adapter plate (6) with clamp (2) and nut (4).
4.
Align the plates and pipes, and torque nut (5) to
290±45 Nm (213.9±33.2 lbf ft). Torque the other
nuts as below.

Install the brackets with integrated rubber bush (7), using
screw (9).

Screw the tensioner arm (8) to the bracket with integra-
ted rubber bush (7) using screw (10) and nut (17). Do
not tighten the screws.
7.
Screw the alternator to the bracket with integrated rubber
bush (7) using screw (10) and nut (17). Fix the brackets
so that the alternator is not slack, but can be turned.
Make sure that the pulleys are lined up.
8.
Install tensioner (8) on the alternator, using screw (11)
and nut (12). Tighten by hand.
9.
Install the belts. Tension the belts and lock the alternator
in place with the tensioner. Torque the screws holding
the tensioner, as in the table below. Check that the
pulleys are still lined up and that the belts turn easily.
10.
Make sure that all screws are securely tightened.
Torque
M8: 24±4.0 Nm (17.7±3.0 lbf ft)
M10: 48±8.0 Nm (35.4±5.9 lbf ft)

about the maximum power that can be supplied from the
crankshaft.
