Your binoculars are now optimally adjusted
to your eyes. Read off the setting on the right
dioptre adjustment ring (2) for future use.
1.3 TwistUp eye cups
If you use spectacles leave the cups (1)
turned down. This allows you to enjoy the full
field of view. If you do not they can be turned
up by a single turn to the left.
2. Using the integrated compass
Your pair of binoculars has an illuminated
digital compass that also displays the
temperature °C/°F and time.
2.1 Turning the display on
Depress the „MODE" button (5) to turn the
display on. To save power the display (4)
turns off after approximately 4 minutes.
2.2 Checking and setting the time (TM)
Press the „MODE" (5) button until the display
(4) shows the blinking word "CAL".
Then press the "MODE" (5). Press the „ENT"
button (6) to set the hours. If no symbol
appears before the time in hours then that ti-
me is a.m. The time is otherwise p.m.
Press the „ENT" button (6) until the right

time in hours is displayed. Then press the
„MODE" (5) button. The minutes will now be
shown blinking on the display (4). Press the
„ENT" button to set them.

2.3 Compass calibration

Press the „MODE" (5) button until the display
(4) shows the blinking word „CAL".
Then press the „ENT" (6) button. The little
arrow will now turn counter-clockwise. Let it
turn 3 or 4 times and then confirm again by
pressing the „ENT" (6) button. The compass
is now calibrated.
Important note.
Do not calibrate near electrical devices such
as computers, TV sets, cell phones etc,
metallic objects or magnets. Calibrate in the
open air if possible.
2.4 Setting °C or °F display
Press the „Mode" (5) button until the word
„CAL" blinks in the display. Then press the
„Mode" (5) button until „°C" or „°F" is dis-
played. Pressing the "ENT" (6) button tog-
gles between „°C" and „°F". When „°C"
blinks press the „MODE" (5) button. The
temperature display is now set to „°C".
