hollow back.This straightens the pelvic muscles and optimises the physiological position of the lumbar spine.This helps

When you lift and hold objects (e.g. crates of mineral water bottles), the lower back support bandage facilitates muscle
exertion at the same time as itenhances 'good' coordinated movement performance.Thus the lower back support banda-
ge does not cause any musclewasting; on the contrary, it enhances muscle activity.

The knopping of the innovative silicone pad is perfectly designed to suit the body's anatomy. Silicone knops varying in
height and size cater for the different anatomical structures – and do so uniquely in the sacro-lumbar region.
i n d i c at i o n s
• Chronic local or pseudo-radical lumbago associated with degeneration, muscular and ligamentary insufficiency
and hypermobility.
• Radical irritation syndromes.
• Scaling-down phase after wearing rigid orthopaedic devices. Lumbal spinal canal stricture syndrome in the
Claudicatio intermittens stage to intensify lordosis counteraction.
• Preventative in sports.
c o n t r a - i n d i c at i o n s
Generally speaking you should see the doctor treating you about the indication and method of wearing an orthopaedic
aid and if you have the following conditions:
• Allergic, inflammatory or lesion-specific skin alterations (e.g. swelling, reddening) of the body areas being treated.
• Impaired circulation or lymphatic soft tissue swelling.
• Neurogenically-specific organoleptic and skin trophic disorders in the body area being treated (sensory
disorders with and without skin damage).
So far not consequential incompatibilities or allergic reactions have been reported.

With proper use and proper fitting, so far there have been no reports of serious general side-effects.
Local pressure symptoms and impaired circulation can be prevented with sufficient certainty on an individual basis if
allowance is made for any contraindications and with non-restricting consistently shaped body fitting.

Fasten the pad pouch with the heart-shaped silicone back pad with the part tapering downwards onto the
two fastening points on the inside of VERTEBRADYN
The lower back support bandage with integrated pad is correctly positioned if, when you hold
the two ends apart behind your back, the particular back pad is centrally located over the lumbar spine.

Now pass your fingers through the loops at both ends of the bandage.

When fastening both ends of the lower back support bandage, make sure that they are fastened
parallel to each other. Tighten the two ends of the bandage a little and cross them over, right over left,
and fasten.

Pull your fingers out of the loops and fasten properly.
TIP:

The product is to be used by one patient only.
Improper modifications to the product and/or improper use of the product referred to above exempt the manufacturer
from product liability. Please make sure to always close the Velcro fasteners properly. As a matter of principle, damage
arising from improper fastening of the Velcro fasteners is not accepted as grounds for claims.
You ought to discuss potential reciprocal health risks or other disadvantages with specific treatments that may arise in
connection with the use of the product with the doctor treating you.
For the product to work effectively over a long period, it must not be worn in conjunction with fatty or acidic remedies,
oint ments or lotions.

Wash the orthesis in hand-warm water with a mild detergent and then dry in the open air. Do not place it on a radiator!
To prevent damage to clothes wash the orthesis separately or close the touch fasteners beforehand.
TIP:
Slackening tension of the knitted fabric while it is being worn is revived by washing. The orthesis should therefore
be washed frequently.
