CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Note: Do not allow water to run inside the unit.

• Clean the fan carefully as described above.
• For storage, carefully place the unit in the original carton or cover it to protect
it from dust.
• Store it in a dry place.
• Never leave the power plug plugged in during storage.
• Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the device and do not subject the
power cord to stress at the entry point to the device, as it will fiber or break.
1. Always unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2. Remove dust by vacuuming along the front of the
fan and at the back where the plastic grilles cover
the air intake. Pipe cleaners or feather dusters are

3. Wipe the surface of the fan occasionally with a
damp cloth (not dripping) and dry the surface
thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth before operating
the unit.
4. Do not use harsh cleaners or substances when

5. Loosen the screw on the front grille. Open the grille
to carefully clean the fan wheel (see picture).
