trim panel away from the vehicle body enough to route the
T-Connector ends with the green and red wires out from
behind the access panel.
9. Route the green and red wires across the vehicle to the
right (passenger) side. Carefully pull back the right side
trim panel enough to feed the wires into the area behind
the panel.
10. Locate the 4-pin vehicle connectors on the right side
of the vehicle.Separate these connectors and position
the T-Connector ends with the green wires between the
separated ends, ensuring that the locking tabs engage.
11. Locate the 2-pin vehicle connectors behind the right
side access panel. they will be slightly higher up near the
rear of the tail light assembly (Fig. 2).
12. Separate these 2-pin vehicle connectors and position
the T-Connector ends with the green wires between these
separated connectors, ensuring that the locking tabs
engage.
13. Confirm trailer harness operation with a 12v test light
or by using a properly equipped trailer.
14. Secure all wires and the T-Connectors black box using
the cable ties provided. Replace all trim and access panels
to their original positions and return the rear threshold,
taking care not to damage any wires. The T-Connectors 4-
Flat trailer plug may be routed out under the left side trim
panel, or stored within the access panel when not in use.
