General
- Read these instructions carefully! After reading, store them in the sleeve
under the Multibob seat.
- The Multibob is suitable for children weighing between 15 kg and 36 kg.
- The Multibob can be placed on the front passenger seat or the rear seat
facing the direction of travel. This is fed through the red guides (B and H) on
the Multibob.
- Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with 3 point/static/with
retractor safety-belts, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other
equivalent standards.
- Bobobline products are designed and tested for the safety and comfort of
your child. Use only accessories which have been approved by the
manufacturer. The use of other accessories may cause injury.
Assembly
- Fasten the backrest to the seat by clicking both hooks on the base of the
backrest to the pins of the seat (figure 1). Lift the backrest up, making sure it
is hooked in place so that the backrest remains upright.
- Lower FIX locking device into the horizontal position. Then pulling knob (J)
outwards of seat unit, stretch FIX metal arm outwards (figure 2).
- Place the Multibob on the seat of vehicle (figure 3). Insert FIX locking arms
into ISOFIX car device (figure 4 and 4.1).
- You can adjust the Multibob Fix from the sitting position to the reclining
position by pulling knob (J) outwards, and stretching Fix metal arm to the
desirable position (figure 5).
- Pull the diagonal section (figure 7) of the three-point safety belt through the
red guide on the base of the headrest (B).
- The horizontal section of the safety belt should be fed under the black
armrest (C) over the red safety guide (H). The diagonal section of the safety
belt should also be fed under the black armrest over the red safety guide
(figure 7). Fasten the seat belt.
The straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tighten.
- The seat belt should remain fastened at all times when the car is being
driven, even if the seat is unoccupied, when not using ISOFIX car device.
Using the seat and backrest
- Unfasten the seat belt, ensuring that it is still fed through the guide on the
headrest. The child can now be placed in the seat.
- The safety belt is fed under the black armrest as indicated (figure 7). Make
sure that the safety belt restraining the child should be adjusted to the
child´s body, and that belts should not be twisted. The horizontal section of
the safety belt should not run over the child's stomach, but be placed over
the child's thighs. Ensure that the belt is worn low down, so that the pelvis is
firmly engaged. Make sure that the diagonal section of the safety belt runs
through the upper safety belt guide (B) over the child's shoulder.
- To remove Multibob from car ISOFIX car device, press red button on Fix
device (figure 6).
- The seat can be adjusted in the following ways:
The headrest and the backrest
Adjusting the headrest will automatically move the backrest into the correct
position. The headrest should be adjusted when the length of the child is
above 115 cm. This can be done by pressing the lock on the rear, whilst
placing your hand on the black plastic section on the top of the headrest
(figure 8). Pull the headrest upwards, pushing the seat with your other hand
down. There is a scale in the backrest which indicates the correct setting for
the headrest (figure 9.1). The height of the child must be approx. the
same than the lowest designation which is visible on this scale.
Check to see whether the underside of the upper safety belt guide is at the
same height as the child's shoulder.
The seat
The seat must be adjusted for children who are taller than approx. 125 cm.
The seat can be adjusted by squeezing the lock underneath, whilst placing
your hand on the black section (D) at the front of the seat (figure 9). The
height of the child must be approximate the lowest designation which is
visible on the scale behind the seat (figure 9.2). Check that the seat is
secured after you have made the adjustment.
Additional information
The upholstery can be washed by hand at 30°C. To remove the upholstery, it
is necessary to partially dismantle the Multibob. In order to do this, we would
advise you to examine how the parts fit together, so that you can put the
child seat back together again properly.
