Net ASM - Convenience
The convenience net in the rear of your vehicle helps to keep
small loads in place during sharp turns or quick stops and
starts.
The net is not designed for larger, heavier items.
The attachment provisions do not come standard on this vehicle.
The easy assembly process is as follows:
1. In the rear of the vehicle cargo area. At indent/dimple
located on the Side Quarter Trim Panel, (LH and RH), drill
8.0 mm / 5/16th hole thru Quarter Trim Panel to access the
weld nut assembled to Inner structural component. (Figure
1 for location), (Figure 2 for depth/diameter). Insert Button
Retainer p/n 15729338 (Figure 3).
Convenience Net cannot install with Options:
E61: Power Lift Gate or RAE: Cargo Management System

To install the net, attach the hooks to the raised floor Cargo tie
downs. Then, attach chord loops to the installed button retainers
in the quarter side trim (Figure 4).
NOTE: You can unhook the net so that it will lie flat when you
are not using it.
