Pickup Box Rail Protectors
Note: Read all instructions before proceeding. These parts use
pressure sensitive adhesive tape. Once in contact with any
surface, the tape cannot be reused. The cardboard box is used
as an installation aid; do not dispose of it until installation is
complete.

Rail Protectors (Passenger and Driver Side)
Stake Pocket covers (4 for short box and regular box, 6 for long
box) Each stake pocket cover is identified as Passenger or
Driver side.
Dry Fit Part
Without removing tape liner, place rail protector on bedrail to
determine proper placement. Note that the contour of the bed
rail protector fits snugly over the contour of the pick up box.
Review proper alignment with bed liner (if used) and remove any
interference from bed liner.
Body Preparation
1. Clean body rail where rail protectors are to be applied with
suitable cleaner such as isopropyl alcohol (50-50 mixture by
volume with water). Cleaner must not leave a residue.
2. Dry using a clean, lint-free cloth. Body rails and rail protec-
tors must be free of moisture.
3. Body rails and rail protectors' temperature during application
must be between 60°F/16°C and 105°F/41°C.
Installation (2 People Recommended)
1. Place empty cardboard box across front of bed rails to
support the rail protector when installing the rear portion of
the rail protector. (See Figure 1.)

2. Turn rail protector so that the tape faces upward. Remove all
tape liner by pulling on tabs exposing grey adhesive tape.
Note: This is pressure sensitive adhesive tape, once in contact
with any surface it cannot be reused.
3. Align rail protector above body rail so that the rear contour
matches the body rail contour. Center rear hole in rail
protector front to back around rear stake pocket in body rail.
