3.2.2 Fuses and Circuit Breakers
Fuses and circuit breakers ensure that possible damage to the drive is limited to damage inside the unit. Danfoss recommends fuses
on the supply side as protection. For further information, see the application note Fuses and Circuit Breakers found on
foss.com
under Service and support/Documentation/Manuals & guides.
Use of fuses on the supply side is mandatory for IEC 60364 (CE) and NEC 2009 (UL) compliant installations.
