RDS
Problem
A SEEK starts after a few
seconds of listening.
No traffic announcements.
PTY displays "NONE."
Error displays
The following indications will flash for about five seconds, and an alarm sound will be heard.
Display Cause
A CD is dirty or inserted upside
ERROR
down.
The CD player cannot be operated
RESET
because of some problem.
If the above-mentioned solutions do not help improve the situation, consult your nearest Sony
dealer.
Cause/Solution
The station is non-TP or has a weaken signal.
n Press (AF/TA) until "AF TA" disappears.
•Activate "TA."
•The station does not broadcast any traffic announcements
despite being a TP station. n Tune in another station.
The station does not specify the programme type.
Solution
Clean or insert the CD correctly.
Press the reset button.
