Switching the device on/off
Risk of injury and material damage due to inadver-
tent activation of the motor!

Before switching on, ensure that the pedal of

the foot control is not activated.

Switch on the device with the "Power On" switch 9.
The illuminated "Power On" indicator light 8 indicates that the device
is ready for operation.
►
Switch off the device with the "Power Off" switch 10.
The "Power On" indicator light 8 goes off.

Function checks

►
Prior to each use, check that the entire unit is in good working order.
►
Ensure that the device is operated and the parameters are set accord-
ing to the instructions for use and safety information of the accesso-
ries.
►
Carry out a functional check of the accessories according to the corre-
sponding instructions for use.
►
Ensure that all components to be used function properly and are prop-
erly connected.
►
Do not use the product if it is damaged or defective. Set aside the prod-
uct if it is damaged.
►
Switch on the device.
"Power On" indicator light 8 is illuminated.
►
If a micro or mini elliptical shaft is connected: Select left or right rota-
tion.
If left rotation is selected an acoustic signal sounds.
If a macro elliptical shaft is connected, left rotation is blocked and the
motor speed is limited to a maximum of 15,000 rpm.
►
Push the pedal on the foot control down as far as it will go.
The motor starts and reaches the maximum speed in the pre-selected
direction of rotation of the motor.
The corresponding indicator light (12 for left rotation or 11 for right
rotation) illuminates.
The motor audibly runs smoothly and at a constant speed.

Only for GA835: Switch on coolant pump 4 via the pump switch on the
foot control.
Pump ON indicator light 3 will be illuminated.
►
Start coolant pump 4 by activating the motor.
►
Control the quantity via the delivery rate control knob 2.
Note
Once the motor has been active for more than two seconds, a special drive
control prevents further coolant from dripping out.

Safe operation

Always carry out a function check prior to using
the product.

Apply the product only under visual control.

Follow the instructions for use of the foot control.
To activate right rotation mode:
►
Pre-select right rotation via the foot control.
"Right rotation" indicator light 11 is illuminated.
►
Increase the speed by activating the pedal.
The motor turns in a clockwise direction.
Depending on the activation of the pedal, the speed increases contin-
uously from 0 to the maximum speed.
To activate left rotation mode:

If a macro elliptical shaft is connected, left rotation is blocked. The motor
can only be operated in right rotation mode.

Pre-select left rotation via the foot control.
"Left rotation" indicator light 12 is illuminated.
►
Increase the speed by activating the pedal.
The motor turns in a counterclockwise direction.
Depending on the activation of the pedal, the speed increases contin-
uously from 0 to the maximum speed.
The device emits an acoustic signal.
