LUBRICATION
TYPE OF LUBRICANT
Engine: see engine manual
Motor cultivator: use only ESSO UNI-
FARM 15-40 X oil and ESSO MULTI-
PURPOSE grease.
1) ENGINE
Each day: check level and top up if
necessary.
Oil replacement: to be carried out ac-
cording to intervals and methods set out
by the engine manufacturer.
2) GEARBOX
(capacity 1,7 Kg)
Every 20 hours: check level and top up
if necessary.
Every 500 hours: replace oil
3) POWER TAKE-OFF FOR IMPLE-
MENTS
Before attaching Implements, fill up with
Multipurpose grease
4) ROTARY HOE BOX
(capacity 0,.3 kg.)
Every 20 hours: check level by un-
screwing the cap on the rear cover of
the rotary hoe body. Replace if neces-
sary.
Every 500 hours: replace oil
GEAR BOX OIL REPLACEMENT
Oil must be replaced when hot, by un-
screwing fillcap A and fillcap B equipped
with an oil dipstick. When oil is comple-
tely drained, replace cap A and fill up
with new oil through hole B (1,7 Kg).
Check level by using dipstick on cap B.
This operation is to be done with motor
cultivator in horizontal position.
TYRE PRESSURE
Often check that tyre pressure be within
the limits of 1-1,2 bar (Kg/cm_)
CONTROLS ADJUSTMENT
CLUTCH: Check the idle stroke of the
clutch lever regularly. This should be
approximately 6mm.
- In order to change adjustment, loosen
nut A (Fig. 18A)
- Set stroke to about 5mm by screwing
or unscrewing adjuster B.
- Lock nut A again.
POWER TAKE-OFF CONTROL LE-
VER: Periodically check that the idle
stroke of lever 7 be approximately of
6mm. To change adjustment, loosen nut
D (Fig. 18A) and screw or unscrew adju-
ster C so that the idle stroke is of 6mm.
Then lock nut D again.
