1. Grasp the intake manifold cover and lift up disengaging the grommets from the studs
2. Install accessory cover by aligning the cover with the ball studs on the engine and pressing down until engagement is
complete.
3. Inspect for any hoses or wires that are in close proximity to the lower edge of the cover and correct any close clearance
conditions by tie wrapping or applying appropriate protective material.
4. Clean the surface of the new cover with mild soap and water solution to remove any dirt or fingerprints.
LF4
1. Remove the oil fill cap and the front fastener as shown in the illustration.
2. Grasp the cover by the front and rotate upward to disengage the mounting grommets.
3. Align the new cover with the grommets at the rear of the cover and rotate downward to engage the two grommets on the
underside of the cover with the ball studs on the engine. Press downward to engage the grommets to the ball studs.
4. Reinstall the oil fill cap and the front fasteners (torque to 9 Nm / 80 lb. in).
5. Inspect for any hoses or wires that are in close proximity to the lower edge of the cover and correct any close clearance
conditions by tie wrapping or applying appropriate protective material
6. Clean the surface of the new cover with mild soap and water solution to remove any dirt or fingerprints
