M6 Torx Head Screw Driver
NOTE: When the crossrails are not in use, place the crossrails
at the following positions for windnoise reduction. Place rear
crossrail at the rear most point of the vehicle and the front
crossrail above the opening of the rear door.
NOTE: If access cover and screw are in place remove cover
prior to lifting the crossrail lever which releases the clamp.
Failure to do this could result in damage to the crossrail
assembly.
Installation Procedure
1. Remove production crossrails, if equipped.
2. Lift lever to open clamp on both ends of the crossrails.

3. Position crossrail assembly between vehicle side rails so
that the rail passes through the clamp.

4. Pull lever down to close clamp around the side rail. Pull and
press lever until it is flush with the upper support of the
clamp.

5. Slide access cover into position into the upper support of
the clamp. With the cover locked into position, insert torx
screw through cover and into the support.

6. Tighten screw with torx head screw driver.
