FILTRATION
Permitted filtration for this type of pump ranges between 100-320 micron.
Filter capacity must be three times greater than the rate supplied by the pump. The diameter of the
inlet/outlet openings must be the same as or bigger than the pump's.
WARNING: to ensure the pump works properly, clean the filter regularly according to how
often it gets clogged which depends on the specific working conditions of each application.
PERFORMANCE
The performance indicated refers to the pump's maximum performance.
WARNING: under no circumstances must the pressure values and revs indicated on the pump
rating plate be exceeded, regardless of power consumption. Minimum allowed revs 400 rpm.

LONG PERIODS OR INACTIVITY
If the pump is not going to be used for any length of time, before starting it first check the oil level and
inspect the valves.
Check for any oil leaks from seals.
If the pump is not going to be used for a long time, it is good practice to carry out all operations that
will guarantee a correct future start (empty all the water, clean the valve housings, lubricate the seals
and all other parts subject to friction).
If the pump is not going to be used for more than 2 months, follow the instructions listed in chapter
"STORAGE"

PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FREEZING

In those months of the year when freezing is a risk (0°C) we recommend emptying both the intake and
delivery lines by means of the relative plugs. Do not turn the pump on if there is ice.
Failure to observe this instruction may cause serious damage to the pump

PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE FOR EXTERNAL PAINTING

Protect/cover the water discharge area of the pump, located between the head and body. Also protect
the oil seals on the power take-off shaft side. The Manufacturer disclaims all liability for any damage to
the pump caused by its incorrect painting.
40
