Intended use: The fan is used to circulate normally tempered, non-aggressive room air in
compliance with the technical data and safety instructions. It generates a strong air flow.
The fan can also be used in commercial applications.
Improper use: The use in machines, outdoors, in garages and in wet rooms or rooms subject
to fire and explosion hazards is not permitted.
No modifications may be made to the fans!
Residual risks: The fan must not be used on uneven, soft or sloping surfaces. There is a risk
that the fan could fall over.
For wall mounting, the load-bearing capacity of the wall and the screws and dowels used
must be given (see notes on page 45). Danger of falling down.
Qualification of persons: Persons who use and operate the fan must have read and under-
stood these instructions, in particular the safety instructions.

Behaviour in an emergency
1. Pull the mains plug from the socket in an emergency.
2. Take persons out of the danger area.
3. Secure the fan against start-up.
Unpack the CasaFan fan and check it for completeness (see overview on page 44) and for visible
damage. A damaged unit must not be assembled.
