About this operating instructions


Before using the CasaFan fan, read the operating instructions carefully. Keep the operating
instructions within reach. Never pass the fan onto another person without the operating
instructions.

Explanation of symbols:

Warning of electrical voltage
Warns of the danger to health and life of per-
sons due to electrical voltage
Caution
Warns of a low-risk hazard which, if not avo-
ided, may result in minor or moderate injury
Warning - Danger to children
- This appliance may be used by children as young as 8 years of age and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge, provided that adequate supervision or detailed instruc-
tions for using the appliance in a safe manner have been provided and they
understand the hazards involved.
- Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance by the user
must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner and
inaccessible to children. There is a danger of suffocation, e.g. by swallowing!
Warning
- The fan may only be put into operation when fully assembled.
- After assembly, the protective grille must not be removed for operation.
- Do not insert any objects through the protective grille or into the housing (e.g.
needles or similar)! Remove loose objects that can be sucked in from the suction
area before switching on the fan! Keep loose clothing such as scarves with fringes
away from the protective grille! Do not cover the fermenting area during operation.
- Never move the running fan. Turn off the fan and unplug the power cord when
moving the fan from one location to another and when the unit is not in use.
- Do not operate the device in rooms where there is a risk of explosion.
- Do not use the fan outdoors.
- Do not expose the fan to harmful environmental influences (dust, rain, strong
sunlight, etc.) Keep it away from heat sources.
- The fan must not be used for other purposes.
- Do not make any modifications to the fan.
