The installation, set-up, maintenance and possible replacement of the water heater
must be performed by qualified personnel in compliance with all applicable regulations
and with any provisions set forth by local authorities and public health organisations.
Before performing any maintenance work and/or replacing any parts, make sure that the
appliance is switched off.
The appliance heats water to a temperature below boiling point.
It must be connected to a domestic water mains supply, established in accordance with
the performance levels and capacity of the appliance.
Before connecting the appliance, it is first necessary to:
- check whether the features (please refer to the data plate) meet the customer's
requirements;
- make sure the installation conforms with the IP degree (of protection against the
penetration of liquids) of the appliance in accordance with all current applicable
regulations.
- read the information provided on the packaging label and on the appliance data plate.
In the event of walls created using bricks or perforated blocks, partition walls featuring
limited immobility, or any masonry which is in some way different from the types listed, it
will first be necessary to carry out a preliminary immobility test on the support system.
The wall-mounting fastening hooks must be capable of supporting a total weight which
is three times the weight of the water heater when it is filled with water. Fastening hooks
with a diameter of at least 10 mm are recommended.
Local regulations could place restrictions on installation within a bathroom environment.
The minimum distances set out by all current applicable regulations should therefore be
respected.
The appliance (A fig. 2) should be installed as close as possible to the points of use in
order to limit heat dispersion along the piping.
