4 Operation

This section explains which additional materials you will need to operate the test bench, as well as how to
set it up and operate it.

4.1 Additional materials / prerequisites for operation

• A laboratory table or a comparably sturdy table
•
An earthed electrical outlet (230 V AC 1~) which is protected against short-circuiting and overloads
•
A 4 mm protective earth conductor socket for connecting the additional protective earth conductor
•
A test object
•
Several connecting cables with 4 mm safety plugs
•
Optional: PC with Windows operating system and DriveLab software

4.2 Mounting the test object to the test bench housing

The motors and the test bench are heavy and angular. They may fall on the feet if handled incorrectly.
Wear suitable safety shoes when carrying these devices from one place to the next.
